She felt the ice in her throat, then this was it. She was going to die and at the hands of Loki. Well hopefully she had enough vodka in the afterlife or it was going to…
Katie stumbled and faceplanted on the floor next to Casey’s bed before pulling herself up and pulling out her phone as she finally broke down crying. “Casey I’m so sorry,” she sobbed, resting her forehead on her friend’s shoulder as she pressed Clint’s speed dial. “Baby, get to Casey’s house, please! Sh-she’s right across the street from me…” was all she managed to say before she dropped the phone and hugged Casey. “I’m so, so sorry…” she whispered.
Clint had just gotten home when his phone rang. He barely managed a “Hello?” before he heard what Katie was saying on the other end, and how she was saying it. He quickly got himself together and ran down to his car, making it to her house in record time.
He ran across the street to the one she said, cautiously opening the door. “Hello?” he said as he came in. “Katie?”
Casey watched as Fenrir crashed through the window, she smiled and looked over at Katie. “Kate look at him…he came to save us…he is a real prince, isn’t he?”
She was loosing it, her head and vision was getting fuzzy. She looked over at Fenrir and Loki. “I hope he gives him hell…” She sighed, talking was making her tired. Casey closed her eyes slightly, she could barely see Fenrir as she began to glaze over.
“Shut the hell up, Loki!” He growled. His nails dug into the god’s shoulders. He glared at him before lifting a paw and dragging it across Loki throat in a quick movement, slicing the Frostgiant’s throat open. “Let this be a lesson. You do not meddle in things that are not yours. You will not ruin my life again, Loki. I will not allow you.” He changed to human form and spat on Loki.
The humanized wolf ran over to Casey and looked at Kate. “What do Midgardians do with wounds?”
