Fenrir began searching for Thor. He was ready to fight the God. Of course the giant wolf was unsure if he could defeat the God of Thunder, but if he ever let his confidence waver that would be the end. There would be no way to defeat Thor.
He knew the scent of the man from long ago in Asgard. Before he was bound and left alone. He raised his muzzle to the air and took in the scents around. The God was close. Not conveniently close, but his scent was strong and carried by the wind and the wind told him the god was just miles away. A grin grew on the rough wolf’s face. It was time to find Thor and get this done and over with.Thor was busy readying himself to find someone as well, but it was not Fenrir. The god was about to leave to find his estranged brother, The God of Mischief. Loki had been pushing his luck and it was now time to put him in his place and give him the punishment he deserved. He killed Erik and who knows how many others. It was no longer time for Thor to sit back and let Loki have freedom.
He grabbed his hammer and lifted it to the air, flying into the sky. He set off on an air-search for his once brother.Fenrir stood outside a diner, walking down the street in broad daylight. He’d wreak havoc, only in order to coax Thor out into the open for a fight. He knocked a telephone pole down with his large tail and flipped a car over by merely knocking into it with his front leg. He crush another car as he stepped on it, smirking as he did so.
As people ran in fear, Fenrir let out a long howl. Hopefully, this would call forth the Mighty Thor.
Thor sailed through the sky, scouring the land below. He didn’t know how or where to find Loki, but he had a gut feeling the God of Mischief wasn’t far.
As he circled the downtown area of Jane’s town, a commotion caught the God’s eye. Down below, a large beast was causing destruction.
“Loki.” Surely this was the work of him. Thor scowled as he descended to the streets . His feet clapped the pavement with rough noise as he sized up his foe. The God looked tiny compared to the Giant Wolf. For one to call Fenrir ‘giant’ was now an understatement. The Wolf was now larger than a two story building due to his growth in power. Thor marveled at him. “I see you’ve grown.”“I have. I’m powerful enough to take even you down now.He growled at the God. His jowls pulled back, showing his large sharp teeth. He took a lung at Thor who was unprepared. It was a warning, for Thor to be ready. For him to finally battle Fenrir.
He backed away from Fenrir’s advancement. He could tell from the wolf’s movement, that he was hesitant to fight him, but his eyes were filled with ferocity and determination. Whatever brought the wolf to him, it was important to Fenrir.
Thor would fight him, but he would not underestimate the wolf’s power unlike some who lost limbs to him. He stiffened his stance and tightened his grip on his weapon. A smirk grew on Thor’s face. He hadn’t have a good fight in a while, hopefully the wolf would prove a challenging opponent.
As the enemy readied himself for the upcoming fight, Fenrir shifted. His legs bent and he held himself close to the ground ready to pounce or avoid an attack from Thor. He figured Thor would act quickly and attack with out any thought, considering the God was no tactical thinker like Loki, but if he did not move within a few seconds, the wolf would take his chance.
The snarl remained on his face. His nails dug into the pavement of the road as he anticipated the next move.
Thor’s attack was swift and already predicted, but he did not know of it. When Fenrir dodged it, Thor was slightly dumbfounded. Clearly, the beast had inherited his father’s intelligence and cunning.
A scowl replaced the smirk.
Fenrir let out a howl as the hammer knocked one of his teeth out and chipped another. He instantly dropped the hero and shook his head. He then focused in on Thor. The pain of the lost tooth passed quickly and a growl came from deep within him. He would kill Thor. Whatever it took. He charged at the God.
His eyes narrowed in concentration. He held the strap of his hand and began whipping it around his head. He lowered it to connect with the giant beast coming towards him. When Fenrir was about 10 feet away, Thor released Mjolnir and sent it’s wrath towards the wolf.
The hammer slammed into his chest without giving him any time to dodge or react. Mjolnir knocked him back then return to it’s wielder. Fenrir lay there for a bit, trying to get his breath and determination back. “Worthless filth.” He muttered as he stood. He stayed where he was and let Thor make the first move now. He would let his patience win the fight.
There was a paused, but after seeing the wolf has no intentions to make an attack, Thor charged at the chance. His hammer left his hand headed towards one of Fenrir’s legs. Thor moved quickly. If the wolf dodged Mjolnir as it came towards him, Thor had a full intention on taking one of his legs out on Mjolnir’s return.
Thor’s plan had gone as he planned. Fenrir merely dodged Mjolnir by lifting his leg. The beast started after Thor, but the hammer came back. It went right through one of his hind legs and clipped on of his front, damaging both. Fenrir let out a loud howl that echoed in the desert around the two. “You bastard!” He growled as he collapsed to the ground.
